Manali

Boasting well-defined snow clad mountain peaks, a breath taking view and the graceful slide of the Beas River as it meanders through the town, Manali is situated to the north just 40kms away from Kullu near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. Even by the most exacting of standards, Manali is the perfect place for a getaway vacation. Adorning the plains and adding to its charm are the many deodar trees, pine trees, fruit orchards and tiny fields. Trekkers to the Lahaul, Spiti, Bara Bhangal (Kangra), and Zanskar ranges are especially fond of this location's resorts.
