Coonoor - Natures Retreat

Coonoor is a high altitude place that is just about 1858Km above the sea level and is approximately 18 Km from Ooty. When compared to Ooty it enjoys a rather milder climate that makes it be a rich haven for tea and coffee estates. This is a beautiful hilly place that offers visitors stunning views like the Lamb’s Rock, Lady Canning’s Seat and Dolphin’s nose. You will also be able to see the great Catherine Falls here. The Sim’s Park is also here featuring over 1000 plant species with so many varieties of roses. The Pasteur institute is also based here and it is the only place in India where rabies vaccine is made in the Indian sub-continent.
Day 01: Arrival Coimbatore-Coonoor
When you arrive at the Coimbatore railway station or airport depending on your means of travel you will be then proceed to Coonoor for you to book a hotel for your nights stay.
Day 02: Coonoor
On your second day at Coonoor you can choose to go out and find for yourself what this scenic hilly station has in store for you. I bet you will be exited with the stunning views that you will discover here!
Day 03: Coonoor-Coimbatore
When you are through with visiting this hilly place you have the option to proceed to the rest of India via train or by air depending on your preferred means of travel.
