Kanha Tiger Reserve

Khanha is one of India’s largest national parks covering an estimated area of 1945 sq kilometers. It was turned into a national park back in 1955. It has 22 species of mammals which include the spotted deer, wild boar, blackbuck, langur and also tigers. You will also find a variety of bird species here as it is home to over 230 species of birds. Khanha is situated 160 kilometers Southeast of Jabalpur.

Kanha Tiger Reserve

Day 01: Arrival Jabalpur-Kanha
You will arrive at the Jabalpur or Nagpur railway station or airport depending on the means with which you chose to travel. You will then drive to Khana which is just about seven hours drive and then proceed to book a hotel where you will stay.

Day 02: Kanha Tiger Safari
On your second day here you will go on a tour of the Khanha Park until noon and then go back to your hotel for lunch. You may come back for an evening tour of the Park again if you like. Later on in the evening you will go back to your hotel for your night stay.

Day 03: Kanha-Jabalpur Departure
You will be driven back to Jabalpur or Nagpur railway station or airport depending on your preferred means of travel for your onward Indian adventure.
