Darjeeling is located at an altitude of 2334 M above the sea level and this makes it an ideal place for coffee and tea farming. Coffee and tea plantation cover much of this stunningly beautiful place. Darjeeling was established by the British in the mid 1800s. It has a good climate with fascinating sceneries that will make any visitor want to stay here longer. While visiting Darjeeling, you will be able to see the Kanchenjunga peaks that really are an attraction of trekkers. It is at this highly station that you will be able to see several Buddhist monasteries.

Day 01: Arrival Bagdogra
When coming to Darjeeling by plane you will alight at the Bagdora airport. When coming here by train you will alight at the Jalpaiguri railway station. You will then proceed to book a hotel for your stay here.

Day 02: Darjeeling
On your second day here you can start by visiting the tiger hills and Goom Monastery and get to see the awesome sunrise. A further tour of Darjeeling will cover Lebong village which features the highest racecourse in the world. You will also get to see the Tensing Norgay and also the Botanical gardens and tea gardens.

Day 03: Darjeeling
On your third day at Darjeeling you will want to take a tour of the famous Toy train which will take you way up on the hills and then end there. It is a two-foot-gauge line that will really leave you perplexed!

Day 04: Darjeeling
You will want to leave this place by plane or by railway that off course depending on your preferred means of travel. When leaving by plane you will go to the Bagdora airport, when you want to leave by rail you will through Jalpaiguri railway station.
